OFFICIAL RACECARD £4 18+ | begambleaware.org | Please gamble responsibly COMPLIMENTARY - NOT FOR RESALE

Good afternoon and a warm welcome to Newbury for the first of two days racing, which will culminate in Olly Murs performing live tomorrow evening. We are delighted to welcome crowds back without a restricted capacity, although we encourage racegoers to continue to adhere to some of the safety procedures across the site which we hope will give you confidence as we emerge from the pandemic. I would like to take this opportunity to thank our sponsors for their generous support of today’s card; BetVictor and Christopher Smith Associates. We have some fantastic racing on offer this afternoon, including the Listed BetVictor St Hugh’s Stakes, with 19 exciting two-year-old fillies declared. Listed winner Choux looks an interesting runner, plus the third and fourth from the Weatherbys Super Sprint, Delmona and Guilded, go up against each other once again. With the relaxation of restrictions, we are looking forward to the rest of the summer here at Newbury, including our two Party in the Paddock events. Kicking off with Olly Murs tomorrow, with Grandstand tickets available on the gate, followed by Rick Astley on Saturday 18 September, performing live after racing on Dubai Duty Free International Saturday, where we will also be celebrating National Racehorse Week. Advanced saver ends on 31 August, with tickets selling fast, so make sure you get yours at the best price possible! Thank you for choosing to spend your evening with us. I hope you have an enjoyable and profitable time, and that you will be back with us again very soon.

Julian Thick Chief Executive
