THE FERRY ALES BREWERY RACEDAY SATURDAY 25 SEPTEMBER 2021 Official Racecard £3.00

THE JOCKEY CLUB WELCOMES YOU

A very warm welcome to Market Rasen for our Ferry Ales Brewery Prelude Raceday and Beer Festival. We have seven races to enjoy this afternoon, the highlight of which is the Ferry Ales Brewery Prelude Handicap Hurdle. This high class race attracts some talented two mile hurdlers and, as its name suggests, can provide clues to the season ahead, so it is worth keeping an eye on horses who perform well. Indeed, it is also worth taking note of the young horses who run well in both the Just Jane Juvenile Hurdle and the concluding Green Imp National Hunt Flat Race, as both are designed to provide opportunities for less experienced horses, who may have the potential to climb through the grades. We hope you will visit the Ferry Ales Brewery tipi on Altior's Lawn (named after the recently retired superstar, who won his first race here), where there will be no fewer than 20 craft ales, lagers and ciders to discover. We are very grateful to Ferry Ales Brewery, for not only staging this great beer festival, but also for sponsoring all of today's races. Adding to the atmosphere on course are 'The Moonshiners,' who will be playing live music throughout the day. For younger racegoers, our fantastic 'Neigh and Play' garden is located in the Lawn Enclosure and provides a great space to use up some energy. We ask all attendees to read the advice later in this racecard, which explains the current government guidance on keeping each other safe on course. I wish all the horses and their connections the best of luck and hope that you all have a wonderful time with us here at Market Rasen.

MULBERRY HILL was given a confident ride when opening her account at Worcester in July and with further progress likely, she may well defy a penalty. Dazzling Glory is in top hands, but a bigger threat may emerge in the shape of Haseefah given her Flat ability.

Regaby suffered a tack issue at Worcester last time so is better judged on his Hexham win the time before. Trumps Benefit is also respected now back chasing.
