Comedians donate jokes for fundraising Comedians including Romesh Ranganathan, Milton Jones, Shazia Mirza, Flo & Joan, Tim Vine and Ed Byrne are amongst the performers who have donated their jokes to be included on a limited-edition poster on sale to raise money for Leicester Comedy Festival. Designed and hand printed by artist Barry D Bulsara, the poster (titled ‘Lest-Ha!’) features jokes from comedians who regularly perform at the annual Leicester Comedy Festival. Sales of the limited-edition poster are expected to raise over £7,500 which will be used to increase the number of community projects during the festival. In 2020 there is a specific programme of events aimed at improving the mental health and wellbeing of people visiting the festival. 2020’s festival features acts from Jo Brand, Stewart Lee, Milton Jones, Shappi Khorsandi, Fascinating Aida, Paul Sinha, Josie Long, Jason Byrne, Tony Slattery, Angela Barnes, Griff Rhys Jones, Andy Parsons, John Shuttleworth, Dane Baptiste, Rhod Gilbert, Mark Steel, Flo & Joan, Arthur Smith and Reg D Hunter.
