To improve communities we need to improve the lives of the people in the communities and that’s where livin futures comes in. We deliver a support service to build life skills, supporting a journey into training and employment.
is a service offered in partnership with Mears, and Southdale Homes to provide help and support to those who unemployed, returning to work, changing careers, or leaving school in South West Durham.
livin futures brings together a range of services to give people the support they need to succeed. Our dedicated Employability Co-ordinator alongside our Communities Staff on the ground will ‘case-find’ clients ‘livin’ in our communities, will work with them to devise an individual plan based on their skills and aspirations, and will direct them to the appropriate services, including: • Work based experience • Apprenticeships • Basic skills training

• Further Education
• Vocational skills training
