Gingerbread People Ingredients


1/2 cup butter (room temp) 1/2 cup packed brown sugar 1/2 cup molasses 1 egg, separated 2 1/2 cups flour 1 tbsp. ground ginger 1 tsp. all spice 1 tsp. baking soda 1 cup icing sugar 8-10 drops food colouring

1. preheat oven to 350, grease cookie sheet 2. beat the butter & sugar together until light and creamy. Add molasses and egg yolk and beat until combined. 3. mix flour, ground ginger, all spice and baking soda in a separate bowl 4. add flour mixture to butter mixture and stir until mixed. 5. knead dough until smooth. cover with wrap and put in the fridge for 30 minutes. 6. meanwhile, beat egg white in clean bowl until stiff peaks form. divide for each colour. 7. once chilled, roll dough and cut out shapes. 8. bake for 10 mins. cool, decorate & serve.

Grinch Kabobs Ingredients


12 mini marshmallows 12 strawberries 2 bananas 12 green grapes 12 toothpicks

1. wash strawberries & grapes 2. peel and slice banana into thin strips 3. chop top of strawberries off 4. assemble the ingredients on the toothpick in the order they are listed

15 marshmallows 5 candy canes 1/2 cup mini chocolate chips 5 orange tic tac candies (or orange icing 10 pretzel sticks 1/4 cup melted chocolate

1. skewer 3 marshmallows on candy cane 2. use tic tac (or orange icing) for nose 3. using melted chocolate, stick on eyes, mouth and buttons 4. press pretzels in as arms 5. dip in hot cocoa

Popcorn Cake Ingredients


3/4 cup popcorn kernels 1 bag jumbo marshmallows 1 cup butter 2 cups chopped jujubes

1. spray or butter a 9 x 13 pan 2. pop kernels 3. stir in jujubes 4. melt butter over medium heat 5. add marshmallow and stir until melted 6. pour marshmallow mix over popcorn mix. 7. press mixture into pan 8. allow to cool, cut and serve

3 tbsp butter 1 package marshmallows 6 cups rice cereal 1/4 cup melted chocolate chips 12 red m&m candies 24 chocolate chips

1. melt butter over low heat 2. add marshmallows to butter, stir well and melt. remove from heat 3. stir in rice cereal 4. press into a 13 x 9 greased pan and cool 5. cut into rectangles 6. melt chocolate and use it to glue the eyes and nose on. draw on antlers

12 large strawberries 1/4 cup vanilla yogurt 1/4 cup coconut

1. wash strawberries, cut off stalk 2. put yogurt and coconut in separate wean bowls 3. dip strawberry in yogurt, then coconut 4. repeat and serve

Tree Brownies Ingredients


1/2 cup butter, melted 1 cup white sugar 2 eggs 1 tsp vanilla 1/3 cup cocoa powder 1/2 cup flour 1/4 tsp salt 1/4 tsp baking powder candy canes icing mini candy

1. preheat oven to 350F spray or butter a 9 x 13 pan 2. beat butter, sugar, eggs & vanilla 3. add cocoa powder, flour, salt and baking powder and mix well 4. bake 25-30 minutes and allow to cool before cutting into triangles 5. break off candy cane and use it as your tree trunk 6. decorate and serve

Christmas Tree Fruit Tray Ingredients


1 ripe pineapple 1 pear 1 clementine orange, peeled 2 kiwis, ends trimmed and sliced thin with peels on 12 strawberries 1/2 cup blueberries 1 1/2 cups green grapes 1 bamboo skewer toothpicks

1. slice the top off the pineapple and slice a thin piece from top and cut piece into a star 2. slice the sides of the pineapples to create a cone shape. push the skewer through the centre of the pineapple and skewer the pear on top leaving some skewer sticking out 3. place toothpicks at an angle all around the pineapple, pear base. 4. starting with your large fruit, add to the toothpicks and fill in your tree. add the pineapple star to the top and enjoy

Festive Layer Dip Ingredients


1 cup cream cheese 1/2 cup miracle whip 1 cup salsa 2 cups mozza cheese 2 tomatoes, diced 1 green pepper, diced 1 red pepper, diced 2 green onions, chopped crackers, veggies or chips

1. mix cream cheese and miracle whip 2. spread mix on a plate 3. spread salsa over miracle whip layer 4. sprinkle cheese over salsa layer 5. sprinkle veggies over cheese layer and serve with your favourite cracker, chip or veggies

1. cut pitas into wedges 2. place pretzel stick in bottom of pita for a tree trunk 3. spread guacamole on pitas 4. use the red pepper to decorate your tree

Roasted Beet Cashew Dip Ingredients


1 cup raw cashews 4 cups beet root, peeled and cubed 2 garlic cloves, with skin 1 1/2 lemons, divided 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar 3 tbsp olive oil, divided 2 tbsp orange juice 3 tbsp water 1/2 tsp sea salt, divided 1/4 tsp dried dill 4 basil leaves optional garnish, pistachios fresh basil leaves

1. soak raw cashews in 2 cups of room temp water for at least 20 minutes (max 4 hours) 2. preheat oven to 400F 3. mix 1 tbsp lemon juice, 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar, 2 tbsp olive oil, 1/4 tsp dried dill. place cut up beet root and garlic cloves into a baking dish and pour oil mixture over beets. toss well and roast for 60 minutes 4. drain cashews and rinse. add cashews, 1/4 cup lemon juice, 2 tbsp orange juice, 1 tbsp olive oil, 3 tbsp water, 1/4 tsp sea salt and basil leaves. blend until smooth 4. add cooled beets to cashew mix, remove garlic skin and add garlic to blender. blend until smooth 5. top with garnish

2 cans prepared crescent roll dough 1 package cream cheese 1/2 cup sour cream 1 tsp dill weed 1/4 tsp garlic powder 1/2 cup red pepper, finely chopped 1/2 cup green pepper, finely chopped

1. preheat oven to 375F 2. cut each tube unrolled crescent rolls into 8 slices. arrange on 11" lightly greased circle pan 3. bake 20 minutes until golden brown 4. cool and transfer to a serving dish 5. beat cream cheese, sour cream, dill, garlic powder until well blended. spread over wreath 6. sprinkle with peppers. enjoy

Snowman Cheeseball Ingredients


2 packages cream cheese 1 cup cheddar cheese, shredded 1 tbsp dried onion, minced 1/2 tsp dry mustard 2 tbsp parsley 1/2 tsp hot sauce 3/4 cup mozza cheese, finely shredded 6 peppercorns 1 shred of carrot 2 blueberries

1. beat cream cheese, cheddar, dried onion, mustard, parsley & hot sauce until well blended 2. roll cheese mixture into two balls, one slightly smaller than the other 3. roll each ball in mozza and place the small one on top of the large 4. chill for 30 minutes 5. use blueberries for eyes, peppercorns for buttons & carrot for nose

2 red bell peppers, sliced 1 cup cherry tomatoes 1/2 head cauliflower, chopped 1/2 cucumber, peeled and sliced

1. place cucumbers in middle of the plate in an oval shape for Santa's face shape 2. arrange the peppers to make his hat 3. arrange cauliflower at the base of the peppers, to line his hat and at the base of the face for his beard 4. line the cauliflower 'beard' with cherry tomatoes to show his suit. 5. use a tomato for his nose, blueberries for his eyes and a pepper for his mouth
