GIFTED AND TALENTED MONTH

CLEAN ENERGYTAX CREDITS
WCPS received a return investment of more than $1.7 million as a result of clean energy tax credits.


February is Gifted Month! Our district’s Gifted & Talented team took 12 amazing sixth graders to Frankfort to represent WCPS for the proclamation signing by Lieutenant Governor Jacqueline Coleman. They stood alongside education leaders, including Dr. Robbie Fletcher, Kentucky Commissioner of Education, and Dr. Julia Roberts, Head of the World Council for Gifted Education and The Center for Gifted Studies. We are grateful for the guardians of our schools. This month, we celebrated School Resource Officer Appreciation Day — the SROs who show up, build trust with students, and keep classrooms safe.

COMMUNITY COUNCIL MEETING
District leadership held WCPS' third Community Council meeting of the 202526 school year at Warren Central High School. They discussed the district's progress and challenges with school, parent, and district leaders, followed by a feedback session.
MODEL SCHOOLS AND CORWIN CONFERENCES
Congratulations to Rockfield Elementary on being selected to present at both the Model Schools Conference and the Corwin Annual Visible Learning Conference. This distinguished honor reflects the school’s commitment to excellence and innovation in teaching and learning.
