The World Corporate Golf Challenge (WCGC) represents one of the biggest corporate golf tournaments in the world. Since its inception, over 1 million golfers in over 20 countries have competed for the chance to represent their country and company at the World Final. What started out in 1993 as a UK corporate golf programme in association with The Times Newspaper, has now become a truly global event. Today the WCGC represents an international network of corporate golf tournaments promoted and run by licensees in association with local and national media partners. The WCGC culminates with the annual World Final, whereby the national winners represent their country (and company) at a worldclass venue. With media partners TIME and FORTUNE magazine, plus vast international television distribution via Golfing World, the WCGC represents an excellent international investment for World Final sponsors, Licensees and participating corporate golfers. WCGC represents the ideal platform to develop business, whether via client entertainment, employee incentives or pure business development and relationship building. The fact that the World Corporate Golf Challenge has taken place for 20 years is a huge success. We are delighted to be able to connect so many people from so many countries, through the game of golf. 20 years is a long time and we look forward to marking our achievements at the 2013 World Final in Scotland. Teamwork and companionship is essential in any business and these attributes are fundamental to the World Corporate Golf Challenge and key to my success as a player and Ryder Cup Captain. I am delighted with the partnership and look forward to playing an integral part in the growing the event in new countries across Europe, the US and Asia over the next few years. 20th Anniversary I would like to congratulate the World Corporate Golf Challenge on reaching their 20th Anniversary.
