Shared Data FAQ Will we still have Book A Showing if the datasharing platform changes? Yes, WCAR has a contract with Book A Showing that would not be affected by SASI. Can listings from the MLS still be displayed on company websites if WCAR went with FIND instead of what we are currently doing? Yes, but only WCAR Active and Sold listings would be available for display on the members website. What is FIND? It is an Agent Only site that displays Active and Sold listings. Datasharing can be done with any association that is part of FIND and agrees to share their information. FIND has the capability of displaying all photo's, disclosures and associated documents. Since FIND is secure site it will also display showing information, compensations and agent remarks.

How do you access FIND? Once implemented you will log in through the MLS system only. There is no outside access point you must first log into the MLS and then go to FIND. Who can see the information in FIND? Only active MLS members Has the West Central Association's board of directors voted to stop sharing data with other Minnesota associations? No. WCAR believes sharing data is important, however the WCAR Board of Director and MLS Committee has unanimously voted to not use the NorthStar MLS as the tool to share data. Why would we change from what we are currently doing? St Paul, Minneapolis, St Cloud and Brainerd sent a letter to WCAR and all other associations currently using the datashare (SASI) stating they wanted everyone to use NorthStar MLS as the input program for all MLS's, after

WCAR independently reviewed the NorthStar option it was decided unanimously that the system would put too many limits on what WCAR could and could not do. WCAR Board of Directors and MLS Committee voted to implement the FIND program which will give all participants the data they are looking for without putting limits on WCAR. Will Sold Data Be Available on FIND? Yes. Active and Sold Data will both be available to view. What's next? The WCAR board of directors will continue to look at all datasharing options and venues that are in the best interest of the members of the West Central Association of REALTORS
