Voter Registration Voter registration is primarily handled through the county clerk’s office in each county. However, you may also register to vote at the Missouri Division of Family Services, Missouri License Bureau offices, and at various city halls. A person must notify the clerk’s office

in person or in writing if changing address within the county. Voter registration deadline is the fourth Wednesday before each election. Disabled voters may continue to request absentee ballots from their homes. Ballots may be requested in person, by fax or by

mail, and voters must submit their name, address, reason for voting absentee, and signature in order to obtain a ballot. Voters who have not cast a ballot in the past three years or in the last presidential election must renew their voter registration.
