Let’s observe the sky
For 2 weeks we have observed the sky in Sassari, photographed and classified the clouds.
Clouds Clouds are made of very small droplets of water suspended in the air.
Clouds are formed in the masses of air moving upward.
Classification of clouds Clouds are divided into main families. Each family is distinguished according to the height at which they lay. For each family there are different kinds of clouds depending on their shape and on the precipitations that they may originate. Low clouds located between the ground and 200 metres
Medium clouds located between 2000 and 6000 metres

The shape of the clouds Clouds, although varying in forms, can be divided into 2 main cathegories: - CUMULUS - LAYERS Between these two cathegories, there are intermediate forms. We distinguish 10 types of clouds, different in morphology and height.

TO CONCLUDE: During these two week-observation, we could see the sky changing quicky. alternating from diffent types of clouds or clear sky over the same day.
