Note: This is NOT political only my personal perspective. Really could care less! Whether they do or don't life goes on. In the greater scheme of things it is as important as a single grain of sand on a beach. But I bet it will be sometime before BP stops the leak or unemployment falls below the 9 10%, both of which is far more significant and effecting far more lives, then a handful of movements. I know the movement in my timepiece to be authentic and I believe they were obtained by legal/lawful means. Did DD work directly, indirectly, at all with Invicta. Don't care! What the problem is and/or how it occurred? Interesting reading, but don't care. How it will be corrected, interesting but since I am not the one making the repairs, don't care. So why don't I care regarding this timepeice, because it has no effect on my life or a majority of life. What DO I care about with regards to this timepiece? That I have a completely functional timepiece - I do! That IF a problem arises in the future it will be taken care of - It will! BTW - these have no effect on my life or the majority of life either. So my suggestion for today - for all the present and future dad's, have a Happy Father's Day. __________________

The CEO of a rather large watch company was basically called a "liar" at his own sponsored website. Then there was evidence brought forward to support that claim. This can not be a good thing. If he(Eyal) never says anything about It then he Is guilty as charged, at least In many peoples minds. Many consumers who buy watches and o other ther Items do research, the Internet Is a wonderful tool. To have something like this hanging over ones head cant be good for business. Maybe Im wrong, It would not be the first time. I just dont see a "statement" of any kind comming after all this time ha has s passed, I voted never.

Look...many of you MAY not care about this.... that is your prerogative .... but what I think you fail to realize is that this has MUCH bigger implications for future issues... If Invicta misrepresented the truth about DD.... which I am still waiting for an answer... Then what does mean about their honesty the next time around... on ANYTHING ELSE they claim.... THAT...is the real story behind this story hogrider1234 View Public Profile Send a private message to hogrider1234 Send email to hogrider1234 Find all posts by hogrider1234 Add hogrider1234 to Your Contacts #42 Yesterday, 06:02 PM

proof of that. I have not seen emails from the owners of DD that there was no relationship whatsoever. Until I see Mr. Becker's statement proved, I have to give the benefit of the doubt to Invicta. Innocent until proven guilty. But - they have to come out with a statement of some sort or I will not be purchasing more Invicta's any time soon. maxkonin View Public Profile Send a private message to maxkonin Find all posts by maxkonin Add maxkonin to Your Contacts #44 Yesterday, 08:47 PM Join Date: Mar 2008 Location: Chicago Posts: 1,804

I'd call it a success, if I happen to be the owner of such a working and non-problematic watch. You can call it dodging a bullet, or just getting lucky. I call it glass half full. Quote:

In this day of Internet, email, instant messaging, global cell phone, etc. I find it very difficult to believe that a company could not get news out quicker. Heck, whenever my boss wants a meeting. No matter where you are in the world you better get on that call.

I know the respondents are not all of the people who purchased but the rules of statistics say a sample size of that size, given the total number sold, gives a high confidence rate of 95% of that data. At least that is what someone posted on that thread (or another of these DD threads), who probably knows more about statistics than I. huitball View Public Profile Send a private message to huitball Find all posts by huitball Add huitball to Your Contacts #50 Yesterday, 09:32 PM Join Date: Feb 2010 Posts: 17 Real Name: Ron

There has never been a sale of movements from DD to invicta. Invicta is not a customer of their company. Prior to this D.D. Debacle, There has been NO communication between Invicta or any known--or appropriately identified--Invicta representative with DD. DD has assumed NO responsibility for any faults, claims or other issues supposedly advanced by Invicta, or anyone else acting in their name. If someone else--especially an already registered customer--has purchased our modules and resold them to Invicta, they are reponsible for any issues which may arise. I am the only official purchase conduit for any US address, and Invicta has never done any business with me or any official DD representative.

The statement will come when both Invicta AND D-D have a statement ready. These are two significant companies, and both are releasing statements from the top of the

executive offices in each... it won't be overnight. Sorry for the delay. __________________
