Question about RS8 glass back The glass back of my RS8 came off when I pulled the plastic off of it. It looks like it is secured from the factory with a thin white locking ring which rests between the outer edge of the glass and the edge of the lip on the case back. I have some thin sticky back tape I was considering using to fix it. Do any of you guys think this would be oK? (Does the glass have to be removed to change the battery ie the tool used to turn the back and any other potential issues other than warranty-not worried about that) Want to keep it and it has been sized already. Thanks Eric

It is just a little round glass that is set into a recessed portion of a normal case back. It is held in place by a little white plastic ring. With out the glass, it looks like a normal case back with a plain recessed portion in center. Watch Junkie View Public Profile Send a private message to Watch Junkie Send email to Watch Junkie

I figure mine may or may not fall off at some point. If they do I'm not sure I'd bother sending it back for a replacement. Unless it falls off tomorrow! rjaybass

I have two LE Racing Editions, and one Spider LE RS8. No problems with the backs, as of yet. I guess they usea piece of glass to affix the case back emblem. Can't speak to the issue with it coming off. Please post pictures, so we can see what you see. __________________
