Jim Skelton late Night Talk Show Host

Maybe I'm a sucker for a cheesy act.But after listening to Jim carry on again tonight, I started thinking that with his persona and quick wit he probably has what it takes to make the transition ( if the opportunity should ever arise ) as a late night ( Jimmy Kimmel style ) talk show host.Of course having Michael Davis as the fall guy co host would complete the setting.Am I alone in seeing this in Jim? __________________

The Late Nite host thing could work. We know also know Jim Skelton doesn't like AT ALL the smell of fish cooking. He said his eyes were watering over it. But he DOES like 'parade waves.' Good entertainment tonight. __________________ " The BEST gift to give is your time to others. Especially reading to kids."

I could see myself as a smart-aleck sidekick more than "the" host honestly. But thanks for the compliment! If I had a dream it would be to be one of the hosts of Top Gear. FUN, silliness, and awesome cars... what more could you ask for?

Doesn't he in effect already have that gig? In any event, yes, I'd "watch." Presumably with his new gig I wouldn't be dropping so much $$$ in the process.

Get rid of Leno and put in Skelton!!!!! Jim would make a great host and I'm sure many people would be tuned in. The plan is get an agent, Jim, bump Leno out of his spot on the Tonight show, then when the network changes their mind you get a cool 32.5 million, start the Skelton Watch Co., and come back to the Shop for cameo appearances on the Watch Time with Jill segment! __________________
