DD not this time!

My defective Invicta DD # 214 has now been returned and refunded... I am getting a diferent watch in it's place. I am now waiting on the delivery of an Invicta Reserve Speedway carbon fiber chrono, in SS & yellow gold. The watch comes with the Seiko automatic "advanced" chrono movement...This movement beats at a higher rate than the 7750...I can't wait to see this watch in person, and wear it on my wrist!!! Thanks again, B

Yeah, this other speedway is very nice looking. And look, it even has the gold plating on the inside of the bracelet links for those that have to have that. Invicta always bring out something to get your attention... __________________

As someone mentioned, the NE78 is, indeed, made by TMI (Time Module Inc - Hong Kong), SII's purveyor of "Made-In-Japan" Premium Mech. Movements! TMI hasn't even updated their website to include the '78' in their 'NE' lineup, so I'd have to agree with Invicta's 'Technical Mgr.' that they are, indeed, the first one's to roll 'em out! I'd wait awhile to see the repair history on this puppy before I buy one, but I'll bet it's a real winner! I'm not sure how this movement impacts Invicta's statement that all Reserve pieces are "Swiss Made", but, with the rising (ok, exorbitant) prices of 'Suisse' movements, I have to applaud Invicta for making the effort to place an affordable mech. chrono (with a degree of 'pedigree') in a very NICE design! ... _______________________________ ⌘ _______________________________ Finally, I'm no expert (really!? - duh!), but I DO wonder if there's any 'relationship' between TMI's SII NE78 and Seiko's venerable 6S28! (If it were anything like their high-

end, high-beat, 6S37 (aka TAG-Heuer Cal. 1887), I'd REALLY wonder about the lessthan-$1000 price for the Ocean Speedway, but $800 seems reasonable for any watch w/something like the 8S78!) ... ... BTW, if - IF! - SII's NE78 is a high-beat, column-wheel, chronograph, ... ... in the immortal words of one Alien Life Form (aka "ALF"), ... "I'm gonna' be on it like buzzards on a gut wagon!"

Seiko 6S28 34-Jewel Column-Wheel Chronograph Movement _______________________________ ⌘ _______________________________ NB: I really hope that the movement in Shop's video needs winding ... ... 'cause, IMHO, it's definitely stammerin' & stutterin' it's way around the dial! ... YouTube - Invicta Men's Reserve Ocean...

_______________________________ ⌘ _______________________________

Finally, (really!), IF Harry Winston didn't copyright the label "Ocean Chronograph", ... ... the name should be 'good to go' for Invicta - legally-speaking! ...
