Gibeon Meteorite Dials

Please forgive me, I'm sure this has been discussed before. Does anyone know, or can anyone answer for me why Invicta does not put Gibeon meteorite on their dial, or on their caseback? Once again they are offering meteorite dials in Ocean Ghosts, and I really would like to know. They write diamonds on their diamond models, what is the deal with the Gibeon meteorite, or is it like the Swiss Made vs. Swiss is on the dial debacle. I would appreciate any feed back.

No Clue - maybe they don't have space for it. Markdnc

They would rather show off things like model number and flame fusion crystal. I dont get it. There should be some documentation. __________________

Pretty crappy that they won't put it on the newer ones.. I mean, my reserve pro diver with those 'microscopic diamond chips' on the hour markers had 'diamonds certified by Invicta' written on the caseback...so just lazy watchmaking on their part? __________________

Gosh, just don't know, and can't figure it out. You think Invicta would be overly proud to write meteorite on all their dials. drwatch View Public Profile Send a private message to drwatch Find all posts by drwatch Add drwatch to Your Contacts #8 Yesterday, 07:48 PM

That with no documentation and coloring them black or whatever stopped me, tho I almost bought the ghost tonight for the $300.00. I'm just afraid they'll be the same tom. and I'll slip and buy one. chitown View Public Profile Send a private message to chitown Send email to chitown Find all posts by chitown Add chitown to Your Contacts #9 Yesterday, 07:58 PM

Yeah you think they would be overly proud of that & make sure its documented on every watch with meteorite. I would like to see a meteorite rotor on one of the automatics. __________________

Always wanted one, but not at the previous prices, and having been burned more than once my trust in Invicta isn't great. We'll see. drwatch View Public Profile Send a private message to drwatch Find all posts by drwatch Add drwatch to Your Contacts #11 Yesterday, 08:41 PM

Someone from Invicta feel free to jump in, would love some answer as to why no documentation. No bashing here, just really want an answer. This is the least your customers deserve. drwatch View Public Profile Send a private message to drwatch Find all posts by drwatch Add drwatch to Your Contacts #12 Yesterday, 09:02 PM

The limited edition OG's from several years ago were labeled as such.

Sorry for the crappy cellphone pic.

It adds to the cost in my opinion to have these things certified. To make this watch affordable, the mfr. will need to cut addl' cost. Having it inspected from the time it is mined,

cut, and then sent to the factory is very expensive. Imagine having some qualified and independent body that certifies gibeon meteorite pcs. for them from mining, sent to customs, milled, and have them shipped for the final build will co$t them a lot more that'll have to be passed down to us. __________________ K!$$ my AXE axmea? guess what? The other brand that is famous for meteorite dials(ROLEX). They don't put the word Meteorite anywhere on their dials either. Maybe it's a conspiracy. Mister Gibeon must be a monster to get the name license rights from huh!
