Posts: 527 Mentioning of WG on ShopNBC shows Join date: 2009-0619 -------------------------------------------------------------------------------Location: CHicago Burbs I'm tired of hearing the puffed-up BS stories from one particular blowhard, so I'm going to comment directly on this. He says "thanks to me, Jim no longer mentions WG on his shows anymore..." Really? I think it's time to put a self-important, pompous BSer in his place for once. Here is a site that actually runs a blow-by-blow commentary on my shows each week: http://www.watchfreeks.com/view_forum.php?id=28 and you'll notice how many times he notes I mention WG on the air. Our shows are not scripted, we do not use teleprompters, what we say is whatever pops in our heads at the moment... so it will vary show to show. It's nice of this person to mention that I have been slipping and mentioning WG less lately, I will be very sure to correct that this evening and in the future.... So when you hear someone claiming to have done anything to change what happens on the shows, don't believe them because there is no one single person who can do anything even close to that. No matter how huge their ego is, or how much they THINK they know... *EDIT* Adding this: I should clarify for anyone who misunderstood me... I'm NOT calling out the guy who owns that forum I linked to!! I used that link to provide proof that I do indeed mention WG often on my shows.

"Sorry if this was asked before as I may have missed it ...but whats up with the disclaimer from Shawnie J tonight on the Phillip shows about watchgeeks.net not being endorsed by the shop ??? He mentioned it right after the guest Vendor mentioned sneek peaking the watch at this site . Sounded to me like he was trying to distance the shop from watchgeeks.net ....HMMMM"

Twitter and Facebook promotions Shop is officially doing......... Gee whiz..... So is WG now the "official" Shopnbc forum?

and what I originally said by the way is in response to Boscoe at WTW is below.

"Aug 31, 2009, 8:54am, boscoe wrote: Spare me the Will Rogers act! Tuned into the JS show last night and was forced to change the channel. Watch offerings are basically all Invicta all the time and The Skeleton's observations on the human condition and "jokes" are wearing thin. Last night, he pointed out that life is finite - and used it as a segway to BUY NOW because tomorrow may never come. Of course, his job is to sell... Otherwise, I noticed he no longer uses the "G" word on his shows and called watch junkies "freaks" not "geeks." He was also very cryptic about making any reference to the web site. I find this passing strange. Backlash? "

Internet address like he used to in the past. During the recent Banning Scandal, my spies report Skelton was thumping his chest and saying he'd shout the Geeks name repeatedly during his shows. His effort last night - at least that I saw - were rather timid and tame.

The reason I ask about the threats from JS is that doesn't seem in character. I've posted elsewhere in threads my opinion about him changing. That will happen to people in that industry. It never fails. With the amount of live airtime they do it is very easy for us to see that happen. I have had pm interaction with him however and he has always responded positively even if it was something that he couldn't do or agreed with. Threats from him would seem out of character to me. The other guy, well I don't really know him Posts: 203 Join date: 2009-09- other than from his postings. Hell do we really know anyone from on line rhetoric? But the thread where he laid people out was about as 09 unprofessional as I've seen. I haven't seen that kind of response from JS. If it

I have received email threats from both. I have the emails and another paper trail. Everything has been turned over to the people that need to deal with it. Rather then discuss this on the forum, you can PM me and I will respond or email me. Time to end the thread as far as I am concerned. Z-Freak Xtreme Member

I'm in agreement... Not sure much more can be said that hasn't... As Koi has stated, send him a PM to discuss further and rest assured...
