April 1, 2001, 09:54 PM There is no shame in helping out another person in need, especially when it comes from the heart. It doesn’t matter who helped him, or what he did with the money. The fact of the mater is, the people who helped out Jim, and his family did so from their heart, and not for any notoriety or pat on the back. It was done for selfless reasons. My opinion is.... that Jim did not do the right thing by his family, and also the brethren here at CF. On the other hand; this sort of thing makes me more proud than ever to be a member of this fraternal order of cigar lovers. I hope I never have to call on this cigar family for a lift up, but it sure is nice to know that you wonderful bunch of individuals are there if the occasion ever arises.
