S Fla GGT - not

Well, I guess i was the only geek at the S Fla GGT in Hollywood after all. I thought for sure at least another 3-4 geeks would join me - based upon the comments I received - but alas, it was just me. But all was not lost - I had a drink and left by 1:30. john

So sorry to hear no one showed. If it were in N. Fla or S. Ga you would have had at least one show up. Watch Junkie View Public Profile Send a private message to Watch Junkie Send email to Watch Junkie Find all posts by Watch Junkie Add Watch Junkie to Your Contacts #3 Yesterday, 01:05 PM

I'm sorry to hear that this happened. How much notice did you give? In any case don't take it personal at all. Sincerely, Nathan Braatzman View Public Profile Send a private message to Braatzman Find all posts by Braatzman Add Braatzman to Your Contacts #4 Yesterday, 01:27 PM

It happens sometimes. We tried one recently in the Atlanta area, had lots of promises but lots of people dressed as empty seats showed up. The ones that did show had a great time. Just maybe wait a little while and try again. You never know. Good luck next time. __________________ laissez le bon r么le de temps Southern Comfort View Public Profile Send a private message to Southern Comfort Find all posts by Southern Comfort Add Southern Comfort to Your Contacts #5 Yesterday, 07:34 PM

John, I thought a WGG here in CT for us motorcycle riders would be a big hit since I saw that so many geeks own them. A bunch of people liked the idea but we only had 3 people including me attend it. Must say though it was put together kinda quick....Maybe the next one will get more people! BTW, I did meet up with two great WG's in Tom & Joe!!! __________________ Dang I'm digging this iPhone thingy Anaconda44 View Public Profile Send a private message to Anaconda44 Send email to Anaconda44 Visit Anaconda44's homepage! I started alerting everyone to a GGT about 8 weeks ago and them picked a date about a month ago. I had a few people say yes - and one even e-mailed me and said he could not attend and one called me as well - so I thought at least 3-4 would show. I do not take this personally - just, as they say, stuff happens. I am still a Geek and would attend a gathering if organized by someone else. Thanks for everyone's thoughts john gen09131 View Public Profile Send a private message to gen09131 Find all posts by gen09131 Add gen09131 to Your Contacts #8 Today, 05:45 AM

My apologies John. I had not seen a definitive date posted, though I indicated interest. Though extreme medical issues have prevented me from any travel at this time, I certainly would have let you know of a no show status out of consideration. __________________
