he world of watches is giving off very confusing signals these days: Swatch group reported a steep decline in sales and profits, while at the same time a record breaking number of people try to start their own brand of affordable watches on crowdfunding sites like Kickstarter and Indiegogo. Smartwatches are taking over, but at the same time rumors have it that the Apple watch doesn’t sell as fast or as much as people thought. What is going on?
