“This class was a religious experience for me...I had to take it all on faith.”

“The recitation instructor would make a good parking lot attendant. Tries to tell you where to go, but you can never understand him.”

“Text makes a satisfying ‘thud’ when dropped on the floor.”

“Problems sets are a decoy to lure you away from potential exam material.”

“The class is worthwhile because I need it for the degree.”

Strange But True Teacher Makes Student Eat Paper

A Worthy Cause

Mandaue City  Philippines - A high school teacher from Mandaue City is in hot water for allegedly forcing her students to eat paper as punishment for being noisy. The female math teacher has filed her leave of absence while the Department of Education and the Commission on Human Rights are investigating the incident. The case stemmed from the complaint of parents of 30 graduating students from the Paknaan National High School in Mandaue City who alleged that the teacher ordered their children to get a piece of paper and then eat it. The incident happened last September 5, but the case only came to the attention of the school principal five days later when the parents complained. www.stupidknews.com

Mankato, MN - Now you can order a beer and get a pregnancy test all at the same location. Pub 500, a Mankato, Minn. bar located south of Minneapolis-St. Paul, has installed a new pregnancy test dispenser in the women’s restroom. Before ordering a drink, women can access pregnancy tests for $3 with a credit or debit card. Healthy Brains for Children, a locally-based nonprofit, created the machine in an effort to reduce alcohol-related birth defects. Pub 500 co-owner Tom Frederick told ABC News that all proceeds go directly to the organization. “I don’t make a dime on the machine,” he said. “We just gave them wall space.” Pub 500 supports their dedication to reducing the number of children born with learning disabilities owing to prenatal alcohol exposure. “It was another worthy cause,” he said. www.stupidknews.com
