The Back Page Employee Handbook for the Recession DRESS CODE It is advised that you come to work dressed according to your salary. If we see you wearing $350 Prada sneakers and carrying a $600 Gucci Bag, we assume you are doing well financially and therefore you do not need a raise. If you dress poorly, you need to learn to manage your money better, so that you may buy nicer clothes, and therefore you do not need a raise. If you dress somewhere in-between, you are right where you need to be and therefore you do not need a raise. SICK DAYS We will no longer accept a doctor’s statement as proof of sickness. If you are able to go to the doctor, you are able to come to work. PERSONAL DAYS Each employee will receive 104 personal days a year. They are called Saturday and Sunday. BEREAVEMENT LEAVE This is no excuse for missing work. There is nothing you can do for dead friends, relatives or co-workers. Every effort should be made to have

non-employees attend to the arrangements. In rare cases where employee involvement is necessary, the funeral should be scheduled in the late afternoon. We will be glad to allow you to work through your lunch hour and subsequently leave one hour early. RESTROOM USE Entirely too much time is being spent in the restroom. There is now a strict 3 minute time limit in the stalls. At the end of three minutes, an alarm will sound, the toilet paper roll will retract, the stall door will open and a picture will be taken. After your second offense, your picture will be posted on the company bulletin board under the “Chronic Offenders” category.

more, so that they can look healthy. Normal size people get 15 minutes for lunch to get a balanced meal to maintain their average figure. Fat people get 5 minutes for lunch, because that’s all the time needed to drink a Slim Fast. THANK YOU! Thank you for your loyalty to our company. Therefore, all questions, comments, concerns, complaints, frustrations, irritations, aggravations, insinuations, allegations, accusations, contemplations, consternation, and input should be directed elsewhere. Strange But True The New Botox – ‘Fix-a-Flat’, Mineral Oil, and Super Glue Miami, FL - Oneal Ron Morris, 30, a Miami Gardens transgender woman, was arrested and is facing charges of practicing medicine without a license after police say she injected a patient’s rear with everything but the kitchen sink in an illegal cosmetic surgery procedure. According to police, the victim saw Morris in May and was injected in her buttocks with a substance consisting of cement, “Fix a Flat,” mineral oil and super glue. The amateur incision was then sealed with super glue, police said. The victim was later hospitalized with a serious medical condition as a result of the injections. Morris, who police say is a man but appears to look like a woman, sports an apparently enhanced rear herself in these arrest photos. www.msnbc.com

“I Burned Your House Down Because You Unfriended Me”! Des Moines, Iowa - Authorities in Iowa say a 30-yearold woman attempted to burn down a couple’s house in retaliation for being unfriended on Facebook. Jennifer Christine Harris allegedly set fire to Jim and Nikki Rasmussen’s garage, forcing the couple to flee their home in the middle of the night. Police say that the investigation shows Harris’ motive was connected to an argument she and Nikki Rasmussen had while using Facebook to plan an event. Tension between them increased to the point where Rasmussen “unfriended” Harris and nasty text messages were exchanged. When police asked the Rasmussen’s who might have wished to harm them, the couple immediately pointed the finger at their former friend. Although more specific details of the case have not been released, police say an investigation supports that suspicion and Police charged Jennifer Harris with first degree arson. www.huffingtonpost.com
