d. Single games played on the last day of a series between two teams from the same region shall begin at noon unless the directors of athletics of the two involved institutions mutually agree upon a different game time. e. Doubleheaders played at unlighted facilities shall begin at 11:00 a.m., except during daylight saving time doubleheaders at unlighted facilities shall begin at noon. Doubleheaders played at lighted facilities are not bound by these restrictions. f. The host institution may adjust the starting time of any game for safety reasons. 1.2.2

Host Institution Responsibilities.

By the start of batting practice, the host institution shall provide ice, water, cups, and single-use disposable or washable towels in the dugouts of both teams. The host institution shall provide a locker room (including a lavatory) and shower facilities for visiting teams. A visiting team is responsible for furnishing its own towels and shall request shower access at least 48 hours before arrival at the game site. The host institution shall have an infield tarp and shall provide a drying agent (e.g., Diamond Dry) to minimize the effects of rain. 1.2.3

Playing Rules.

Contests shall be conducted under the NCAA Baseball Playing Rules except as modified below. 1.2.3.1

Final Game of Series.

The ball used for all games hosted by Conference members shall be the Rawlings FSR1NCAA. (6/14) Scheduled doubleheaders between teams from the same region shall consist of a nine-inning game followed by a seven-inning game. Scheduled doubleheaders between teams from different regions shall consist of two nine-inning games. The second game of any doubleheader shall start 20 minutes after the completion of the first game unless the time period is extended by mutual agreement of the head coaches of the competing teams. (9/14) No inning may begin after 4:30 p.m. in the final game of the series between two teams from different divisions. This rule may be waived by mutual agreement of the directors of athletics of the two competing institutions prior to the start of the game. If the final game of a series cannot be completed, the regulation game, tie game, or no game rules shall be used. The game will not be considered halted or suspended.
