Go exploring through our trove of designer objects; you’re certain to find a little something that’ll brighten up your everyday life, be it a new throw pillow for the sofa, an eye-catching wall mirror or a unique wooden bird sculpture. Warm Nordic’s accessories celebrate a Scandinavian design spirit that stretches across generations and decades. All our accessories are the creations of a wonderful assortment of new and more established modern designers as well as prominent architects, artists and designers from the 50s and 60s, the era where Scandinavian design first took the world by storm. We have embarked on a journey of discovery through our Scandinavian design heritage, falling in love with some of the most beautiful objects we came across and put them back into production, including designs from the lighting master Svend Aage Holm-Sørensen and the furniture architect Jacob Hermann from Denmark and the Swedish glass craftsman Gunnar Cyrén. A love for unparalleled craftsmanship and close attention to detail pervades our entire collection of timeless accessories. Each and every item has been crafted from exceptionally high-quality materials, ranging from exclusive textiles from Kvadrat to coloured marble and beautiful varieties of dark wood, which in their own subtle way add a comforting warmth to any interior. All our accessories effortlessly blend in with Warm Nordic’s Classic and Contemporary collections of furniture and lamps, playing their small part as feature pieces which inject joy and spirit into an integrated design universe.

Svend Aage Holm-Sørensen 1913-2004 Svend Aage Holm-Sørensen sketched on everything: envelopes, theatre programmes, even tram tickets. Some remained sketches and ideas, but others he brought to life in the form of lamps. Thanks to a combination of imagination, talent and vision, Svend Aage Holm-Sørensen played an important role in Danish lamp design. From the 1950s onwards, Svend Aage Holm-Sørensen took the lead in the world of modern lighting during the heyday of Danish furniture design. As a licensed ornamental metalworker, Svend Aage Holm-Sørensen possessed an experimental, yet balanced understanding of materials, creating innovative, high quality lamps with an international, yet Nordic look. In consultation with Svend Aage Holm-Sørensen’s family, Warm Nordic is upholding the legacy of this great lighting designer and will regularly launch more House of Svend Aage Holm-Sørensen iconic lamp designs.

Gunnar Cyrén 1931-2013 Every single day of his life, the great Swedish silversmith, glass artist and industrial designer, Gunnar Cyrén sought to reinvent beauty. Gunnar Cyrén’s work alternated particularly between silver and glass in a vibrant symphony of creative passion, joy of colour – and humility. He was constantly true to the material in his quest for authenticity, and constantly true to the actual craftsmanship in his infinite experiments in the legendary Orrefors glass workshop – and from 1976 in his own silver workshop. Gunnar Cyrén’s diverse life’s work featured everything from artefacts and ceremonial objects to beautiful utility items, created out of a fundamental belief that the arts and crafts, by their very nature, should convey beauty. Gunnar Cyrén played a major role in the evolution of Swedish glass art from the 1960s to the 1990s. One particular creation of the award-winning Gunnar Cyrén was the exclusive Nobel range, which ever since 1991 has graced the tables at the Nobel Prize award ceremony. Meanwhile, both his glassware and original works in silver are in great demand at international auctions.

Gourmet Wood Trivet is a series of beautiful walnut and oak trivets with delicate carvings. The carvings lend the trivets a touch of character and have a life of their own in the form of swaying trees, sprouting hearts and abstract animals. The trivets also look attractive on the kitchen worktop, if you can’t bring yourself to conceal them in a drawer, or on a window ledge as a decorative element with a single candlestick, a plant pot or some of your favourite jewellery.
