News and Information from The College Park Scholars Arts Program
Dec. 13-19, 2010
Thanks for a Great Semester, Arts Scholars!
We hope you all have enjoyed this semester as much as we have! Have a wonderful break, and we’ll see you in January ready to create some great work for the Arts Festival! For those of you who are First-Years, the spring semester colloquium will be an entirely new experience! We will still have field trips and other events, but the majority of your time will be spent in Sophomore-led workshops putting together performances or other artistic projects to display at the Arts Scholars Arts Festival on April 30, 2011. Each of you will get to choose from the workshops proposed by members of the sophomore cohort, including vocal music, instrumental music, theatre, and visual arts. Keep an eye out for more information about signing up for workshops as we approach the start of next semester!
5 Minute 1st Semester Survey This afternoon, you will receive an email with a link to a quick survey about your first semester as an Arts Scholar student. Not to be confused with course evaluations you have already completed, this survey is for collecting information about your experience as an Art Scholar to date. The information will be kept confidential and will not bear any consequence on assessment other than earning 5 points for the completion of the survey. Please be sure to take a few minutes to complete the survey by Monday, Dec. 20th.
