Residents are asked not to flush any types of “wipes’’ into the sewer lines.

Section X Wastewater lines and storm sewers:
1) g) NopersonshallinterferewiththefreedischargeofanyVillagewastewaterlineorpartthereof,ordoanyact orthingwhichmayimpedeorobstructthefloworclogupanyVillagewastewaterlineorappurtenancethereof. No person shall throw, deposit or leave in or upon any Village sewer, or any trap, basin, grating, manhole or other appurtenance of any Village sewer any butcher’s offal, garbage, litter, manure, rubbish, sweepings, sticks, stones, bricks, earth, gravel, dirt, mud, hay, straw, twigs, leaves, papers, rags, cinders, ashes or refuse matter of any kind, except feces, urine, the necessary closet paper, waste water and slops properly discharges through a private sewer into a Village sewer.
