COMPUTERS FOR SENIORS

This course is for the beginner and is designed to introduce you to the computer. Basic functions of Microsoft Windows will be covered along with adjusting personal computer settings. You will also be introduced to the Internet and Email. The instructor is skilled at teaching those with little or no experience with computers. Class is limited to 12 students.

FACEBOOK FOR SENIORS

In this cutting edge course for seniors, we’ll learn to navigate the social community of Facebook. We will create a Facebook account, learn how to locate friends and family members, how to use the news feed and upload pictures. A good working knowledge of computers is required for this class. ADVANCED COMPUTERS FOR SENIORS

DIGITAL CAMERA FOR SENIORS

The goal of this class is to help our fellow seniors get a better understanding of today’s technology in digital cameras. We eliminate all the confusion that digital cameras present today. You will learn how to easily operate your camera resulting in great photos of your grandchildren, other family members, friends & all those great places you travel to now that you have the time. This is a hands-on class, so please bring your camera, owner’s manual, charged batteries and memory card. Also included in this course is a special session on uploading them for online ordering. Are you new to Windows 8? Can’t seem to figure it out? This new and fun version of Microsoft Windows can be tricky for even for ‘old pros’. In this class, we’ll learn some old tricks and some new ones as well. Bring your laptop loaded with Windows 8, and we’ll learn all about it. June 3 & 10 10:00am-12:00pm Location: Computer Science Lab 9 Fee: $25
