Past Project Recap On November 2nd, 2022 from 7:15 a.m. to 7:45 a.m., Waiakea Key Club members sign-waved in front of their school as a part of Key Club Week; Show Your K! We use banners and signs depicting the Key Club core values; Leadership, Caring, Character Building, and Inclusivity. This project was successful because we all had a lot of fun and everyone driving by was enthusiastic.

On Saturday, November 12th from 1:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., our LTG Abigail Jensen hosted a workshop for everyone in the division who is interested in partaking in a Key Club Contest. Each club participated in an AAR check-in to review their club-wide performance and address their original goals made at the Officer Training Conference. Everyone running for a contest was able to begin their portfolios and start compiling their work. We also had a service project where everyone made a paper flower bouquet to gift to someone who we appreciate!

SERVICE ACROSS THE ISLANDS: 11/12

On November 19, 2022, Waiakea Key Club held a fundraiser with Teapresso to raise money for Pediatric Trauma Program. There were two shifts from 8:00am to 11:30am, and 11:30 am to 3:00pm. Many members stayed for both shifts or either came early to help out. There were many jobs throughout the two shifts. Before the shifts started, we set up the tables and food. There were pairs working the register, serving the food and drinks, waving along the road, and selling Kaukau cards. While the drivethru fundraiser happened, we had a chance to participate and watch the Global Engagement Rally on a computer. After the shifts were done, we helped to break down the booth. We should continue holding fundraisers with Teapresso like we have done before.
