SWAN VALLEY WEEKENDER - $245 Extend your Swan Valley experience by packaging up Gourmet Feast in the Valley with your ticket to a Tex-Mex Takeover at Mandoon Estate presented by Australian Good Meat. It’s perfect for friends, families and foodies (particularly those of the ‘carnivore’ variety).

Straight from the feast ‘fire pit’, your evening will be spent at Mandoon Estate with ‘hardcore carnivore’ Jess Pryles sizzling up a storm at a live cooking station. Your meatfocused menu will be served under the stars, washed down with premium Mandoon Estate wines and Homestead Brewery beer.

Prices apply for advance sales. Check website for door price. For tickets purchased through Ticketek, a one-off service & handling fee of $3.95 per transaction applies on all purchases. All ticket/item prices include GST, if applicable, and are quoted in AU$. Event details and prices are subject to change.

WITH OLD YOUNG’S Join the distillers from Old Young’s as they guide you through a tasting of three of their premium gins, before you take on the challenge to create your own! Receive a gin and tonic on arrival, learn all about how Australian Champion Distiller James Young came to create the Official Gin of Gourmet Escape, then let your imagination run wild as you create your very own bespoke gin. You will leave with a 200mL bottle of your creation as well as a discount voucher for the Gourmet Escape Gin. Please note that tickets to Create Your Own Gin with Old Young’s do not include entry to Feast in the Valley and an entry ticket will need to be booked separately.

WINE & SIGN WITH MARCO PIERRE WHITE Due to popular demand, a limited number of lucky guests will score their chance to meet the ‘godfather of modern cooking’ at Gourmet Feast in the Valley. Bookable in advance, each Wine & Sign ticket includes a signed copy of Marco’s legendary book (aptly named ‘White Heat’), a chance to meet with the author, plus a glass of Swan Valley wine. Please note that tickets to Wine & Sign with Marco Pierre White do not include entry to Feast in the Valley and an entry ticket will need to be booked separately.

LITTLE GROWERS GARDEN IN ASSOCIATION WITH THE FOREVER PROJECT

A special garden for the little green thumbs, where they’ll learn how to grow their own herbs, make compost from their kitchen scraps, build a worm farm and more. Keep an eye out for ABC Kids star dirtgirl, who will be visiting the garden to meet with all those budding horticulturists!

MAIN STAGE There’s never a dull moment on the Feast Main Stage, where hot music talent meets family entertainment. On Saturday, The Rubens will headline the show, with Fergus James, DJ Andrew Levins, Odette Mercy & Her Soul Atomics and kids’ act dirtgirl & Mother Earth performing earlier in the day. The Sunday line-up includes WA darlings Abbe May, Carla Geneve and Web Rumors, with DJ Andrew Levins and kids’ entertainer, Justine Clarke.

LOCALLY MADE: SWAN VALLEY WORKSHOP SERIES Our workshops and community talks are hands-on and fun for the whole family! We have partnered with some of the best in the (Swan Valley) biz, who are devoted to their craft, teaching you cool tips and tricks to improve those kitchen skills. Each class will celebrate local produce from the Swan Valley region, with tastings along the way and recipes (or even samples!) to take home with you. See workshop timetable on pages 10-13.

THE FIRE PIT

PRESENTED BY AUSTRALIAN GOOD MEAT Think flame-licked meat and master butchery with a suitably smoky soundtrack to match. Head to the Feast Fire Pit (an open-plan BBQ of epic proportions, complete with 360-degree views) to see culinary heavyweights like Marco Pierre White and Jess Pryles in action, then wash down their dishes with a fine local wine.

It’s the best of Southern American comfort food, with the fresh, vibrant flavours of the Caribbean. Think dirty rice with black beans, chorizo, coconut rice and pork belly, mac n’ cheese croquettes, pig ear chips with Cajun mayo and jerk pork scotch on candied pumpkin with choko pickles.

THE MELT HUB

The ultimate gourmet sandwiches starring locally sourced ingredients, artisanal breads and buns, pickles, dressings, relishes, meat and cheese.

BANH MIZZLE

Authentic Vietnamese street food, from Banh Mi to noodle salads and Vietnamese loaded chips. Don’t miss their WA specialty dish – a traditional beef salad with fish sauce dressing, using Avon Valley Beef.

CURB YOUR HUNGER

What’s better than fries? Fries loaded with cheese and ALL the extras, that’s what. Curb Your Hunger will be serving up both classic and beef poutines, with hot wings on the side.

TAPI TRUCK

The ultimate Brazilian fusion, with tapioca crepes in all flavours – chicken pesto, pulled beef, Calabrese pork sausage and pesto mushroom. Don’t miss a side of crispy polenta chips or halloumi cheese and sago blended with a capsicum sauce.

BAOLICIOUS

FOOD AT THE FEAST A truck-load of eating options will be available in the Valley, as a selection of WA’s hottest food trucks go head-to-head with a range of pop-up bars and restaurants. Here are just a few to get your mouth watering.

Hand-crafted Bao buns made from scratch with an infusion of natural ingredients, blending Asian and Western flavours. Crispy chicken, hoisin BBQ pork, Cajun soft shell crab, crispy honey tofu and lemongrass popcorn chicken are all on the menu, alongside sweet potato chips and apple n’ cabbage slaw.
