Note: This work is a ﬁne example of the preferred content and regional style. Here, a single ﬁgure stands her hands clasped to create a sculpture that is self-contained and autonomous. Her coiﬀure is typical of the region, her center parted hair is rendered with careful incising which extends down her back in two broad braids.
