This 367,000 square foot of mixeduse space combines students living and learning environments. The 10-story residential tower provides housing and a dining center for 450 students;its adjacent seven-story academic structure accommodates classrooms, studios and offices.

This 940-bed residential complex features two nine-story wings and an 11-story center section offering views of the entire campus. The residential portion features seven types of single-, two and fourbedroom suites that include shared living spaces and private bathrooms.

This 300,000 square foot, mixeduse residential complex occupies an entire city block and houses approximately 860 students. The facility features renovated dormitories, classrooms, a dining/ servery area, student lounges and a community center.

That’s 480 percent more than our annual benchmark.

PROVIDING A HOME AWAY FROM HOME A student’s residence needs to accommodate their basic day-to-day needs as well as encourage and cultivate an extended learning environment. Our extensive experience constructing customized dormitories ensures a sophisticated, innovative and flexible space where students can succeed both in the classroom and in their everyday life. MODULARIZATION IS KEY Walbridge utilizes off-site prefabrication and modularization as a potential cost savings when building dormitories due to the repetitious nature of the facility. Modularization allows the end user to see first hand what has been designed as well as if there are any constructability issues that need to be resolved before construction begins. LESSENING THE IMPACT We understand the importance of sustaining a learning environment for both students and faculty. We make it a priority to minimize disruption on campus as much as possible by working around the client’s schedule, not ours.
