Chair Yoga For Seniors

Chair Yoga is designed to meet the specific needs of seniors and is structured to benefit everyone at any level of health and fitness. Class will include a combination of stretching and breathing exercises designed to relieve stress, calm the mind and increase mobility, balance and body awareness. The yoga poses used are adapted for seniors and are done either standing or seated. Chairs will be provided to keep everyone safe and supported. There is no need to bring a yoga mat. Relax and refresh your body, mind, and spirit while practicing Hatha style yoga. Class will focus on the flow of vinyasa style yoga as well as the strength and focus of a Hatha practice.
