Get-A-Way Youth Centre Assistant The Vulcan and Region FCSS is looking to fill a part time Youth Centre Assistant position. Some key duties of this position include, but are not limited to: *Supervising and interacting with youth at the Youth Centre 3 nights of the week. *Fundraising. *Planning activities, events and theme nights. *Working with the Youth Centre Leader. *Providing resources for youth. *Canteen sales. As a successful applicant you: *Have post-secondary education or experience that relates to this position; working with youth an asset. *Are reliable and patient. *Are a good listener and energetic. *Possess good organizational skills. *Are creative and flexible. *Are a team player.

Leaders of Tomorrow Award The Leaders of Tomorrow Awards program recognises students who have made outstanding contributions to their community through Volunteerism. Individuals, community groups, educational institutions and voluntary organizations are invited to nominate young people who deserve recognition for their devotion to helping others. The deadline for having nominations in is Mar. 24 at 3 pm. No later nominations will be accepted. Posters and nomination forms are available at FCSS or by emailing Wendy at firstname.lastname@example.org.

Our costs of raising these funds will be about $3500.
