RAISING GREAT KIDS

Trick Questions Put on your thinking caps for these questions that induce you to scratch your heads and come up with a sensible answer and not just a logical one (answers will be in next week’s newsletter). 1. What is light as a feather, but even the strongest man cannot hold it more than a few minutes? 2. Imagine you are in a sinking rowboat surrounded by sharks. How would you survive? 3. There was an airplane crash, every single person died, but two people survived. How is this possible? 4. The Mississippi River is the dividing line between Tennessee and Arkansas. If an airplane crashed exactly in the middle of the Mississippi River there, where would the survivors be buried? 5. Divide 50 by half and add 40. 6. You went to visit a doctor and he/she gave you 5 pills. He/she asked you to take 1 pill every 30 minutes. Now how many hours will it take you to consume all the pills? 7. How close of a relative would the sister-in-law of your dad's only brother be to you? 8. Larry's father has five sons named Ten, Twenty, Thirty, Forty...Guess what would be the name of the fifth? 9. You have a cup placed on a table. You are pointing towards the North and the cup is facing towards the South. On which side is the cup's handle? 10. Two men play 7 games of checkers. Each wins an equal number of games and yet, there are no ties. How is this possible?
