5 Class Power Engineering Ready to challenge the Alberta Boiler Safety Association Fifth Class Power Engineering Certificate? This is the course for you! This course is an introduction to the basic design, operation, and maintenance of heating and other mechanical equipment used in industry, schools, apartments, and office buildings of small to moderate size. This course is geared toward operators in the food processing industry, building operators, custodians, residence managers and others involved in the operation of mechanical equipment in buildings and plants. Please note: You must have operated a power plant or heating plant boiler for six months and successfully complete this course to qualify to write the ABSA Exam.
