welcome!
experience & expertise
It is with great pleasure that we introduce our new 2019/2020 holiday brochure, which you will find full of wonderful destinations and interesting events to tempt you. The beauty of joining one of our tours is we collect you from your front door and return you home again at the end of the holiday. All travel is arranged by us so you just need to book your chosen holiday and let us take care of the rest.
Woods have nearly 50 years’ experience in the travel industry, and have grown into an award-winning company, known for the quality of our holidays and our dedication to customer service. Still family run, Woods are large enough to offer the benefits that you need, such as door to door service and a wide variety of destination, but small enough to care about the holiday experience of each individual valued customer.
We will stay in carefully chosen quality hotels and the creative team at Woods take pride in designing your tour to include interesting, historic and scenic visits at your chosen destination. In 2018 we continued to update our fleet with the acquisition of two beautiful Irizar touring coaches, and have also constantly monitored feedback from our passengers to improve the holidays we offer. We hope that you will be travelling with us in 2019 and 2020, and look forward to welcoming you on one our many tours in the future.
what our Passengers say “As usual, the organisation was impeccable, and went without a hitch, both for pick up and drop off. The hotel was great, the décor, the service, the food, absolutely first class, no faults whatsoever… Finally, the driver/tour guide was brilliant, nothing was too much trouble, a real pleasure to be with, just like the rest of your drivers I have had the pleasure to holiday with. Keep up the good work.” Mr B, Lancing (Lincolnshire)

woods Fundraising with st. wilfrid’s Hospice in 2019
our chosen charity for 2019 is st wilfrid’s Hospice based in chichester. st wilfrid’s have been providing the highest level of palliative care in the local west sussex community for over 30 years. their charity covers a community of over 80,000 homes in an area running between emsworth to the west, Arundel to the east and Midhurst to the north. their goal is to provide care and support for people with terminal conditions and their families, by providing attentive care in a safe and calm environment whilst supporting families, carers and friends with bereavement support. The majority of care takes place in the patient’s own home – with the Hospice at Home team providing symptom control, respite care and emotional support. St Wilfrid's Living Well Centre is an outpatient support hub where patients, their families and carers can access a range of activities and complementary therapies. Their team of specialist staff is on hand to offer emotional, physical, practical and clinical support. With their DREAMBUILDING project coming to completion they are set to move into a brand new, purpose-built Hospice in Bosham this June, enabling them to continue and expand their care coverage for many years to come. St Wilfrid’s vital services are all provided free of charge, thanks to the generous support of fundraisers and donors. Only 16% of the running costs are currently met by the NHS and they rely on the community to fund the remainder, which equates to just over £7.7 million each year. You can find out more information at www.stwh.co.uk. We have set ourselves a target of £10,000 to raise for St Wilfrid’s and have planned a number of events and activities to take place over the next few months. Our team at Woods are all keen to take part and are avidly seeking sponsors and support from friends and family. We would also like to reach out to our loyal travellers to see if you would like to help us reach our goal. So far we have raised £1,500!
