/ Work Experience: Co-founder/Partner - Studio Wood, New Delhi, India - 2014 to present

Studio Wood is a boutique agency designing furniture and spaces for the young and the restless. The collective is best known for its ‘in the moment’ aesthetic and ingenious quirks.

Interior Design Projects

The projects undertaken include interior design of commercial and residential spaces such as Truly Madly, Vizion, Hive, The Loom, Kochi Muziris Biennale, XS Productions, Rod Anker Salons and more.

Furniture Design Projects

Along with custom furniture designed and manufactured for interior-architecture projects, I have worked on developing ranges for the retail segment with the following: / Re-love, 2014 / 28 North 77 East, 2015 / 3.0h!, 2016 / Figments, 2017 / On the dot, 2019-2020

Studio Initiatives

As part of Studio Wood’s community development initiatives, I have focussed on two specific projects namely ‘You For Us’ and ‘Dear Friday’

You for Us

An initiative by Studio Wood which aims to create a local area plan of the urban village of Kishangarh indicating the plethora of activities the locality hosts.

Dear Friday

A monthly session at our studio in New Delhi with different activities and themes which are discussed through an open forum with like-minded individuals.

Creative Head - Project Fiza

Project Fiza deals with the issue of socially sanctioned commercial sex trade  in Najafgarh – a village on the outskirts of Delhi. Through a process of negotiation and integration with the local community, the organization targets entrenched attitudes to end this generational sex trade practice amongst the girls and women and push the children towards education
