What does a national public health emergency look like? That is what our country is currently experiencing, the opioid crisis. We cannot evacuate, we cannot hide, and we cannot run for shelter. The opioid crisis has entered our homes and our lives, and is something many people are forced to face head on. We are experiencing the biggest attack this country has ever seen, taking an average of 46 lives a day with a price tag of over a trillion dollars.
