A coastal vibe set the scene for Sydney and James’ summer wedding. The couple, who grew up in Virginia Beach, spent summers respectively, on their parents’ boats on the Eastern Shore. They instantly fell in love with the simple, but elegant water scenery, which was accented with coral and white roses, dramatic draping and chandeliers in the tent; and a mix of farm tables with lanterns to lighten the mood. The bride chose a sweetheart neckline gown, while her bridesmaids wore coral in four different styles. Guests enjoyed food stations including freshly shucked Shore oysters; koozies designed by the groom; and music performed by The Deloreans. The couple was sent off into martial bliss by the glow of sparklers and surrounded with love by family and friends. 22 SPRING / SUMMER 2017
