My Message to You: Dear Conservative Friend, Today we find ourselves in unchartered waters. Covid-19 has literally turned our lives upside down and the need for strong and experienced leadership has never been greater to navigate these unprecedented times. Newmarket-Aurora needs a Member of Parliament who will ensure that supports are in place for those who need them, but at the same time, work diligently towards restoring our country’s fiscal health.

On August 5th, VOTE LOIS BROWN I was a proud a member of a Conservative government that led all other G7 countries in bringing Canada out of the severest recession in recent memory with a concrete plan for jobs, retraining and economic prosperity. We did it before and we can do it again. Contrast this approach with the Trudeau Liberals who have spent more than nearly every other government in the developed world over the last 14 months, yet achieved the poorest results. We own one of the biggest increases in debt among all advanced economies. Despite the Liberal spending splurge our economy shrank 5.4 per cent last year which according to Statistics Canada was our sharpest annual decline in the post-World War II era and the third straight year in which we underperformed the U.S. economy. Friends, we are at a crossroad. We are saddling future generations with enormous debt which will greatly limit our ability to meet future crisis without a change in course.

I am that strong leader who will deliver the results you deserve. During my seven years as Member of Parliament for Newmarket-Aurora I was successful in obtaining funding for many of our riding’s best known landmarks today such as the Newmarket Riverwalk Commons, Aurora Go Station, Aurora Community Centre, Ray Twinney Centre and many more. I helped thousands of constituents receive the benefits and assistance they needed.
