BBYO is the leading pluralistic teen movement aspiring to involve more Jewish teens in more meaningful Jewish experiences. For more than 80 years, BBYO has provided exceptional identity enrichment and leadership development experiences for hundreds of thousands of Jewish teens. Many of BBYO’s 250,000 alumni, who are among the most prominent figures in business, politics, academia, the arts and Jewish communal life, claim it is BBYO to which they “owe it all.” With emphasis on the importance of the well-rounded individual, BBYO’s programming includes social, community service projects and Judaic enrichment. The diversity of programming, coupled with the sense of camaraderie and leadership training, provided by BBYO cannot be paralleled by any other youth organization. Restoration Boker Tov Adon Fidelman

December 6 | 6:30 pm A triangle of fatherhood ties, a triangle of love.

70 year old Yaakov Fidelman (Sasson Gabai, The Band’s Visit) hangs on with all his might to the antique restoration workshop which has been his life’s work. After his long-time business partner passes away, Fidelman rejects his son Noah’s idea to close the business and build an apartment complex on the site. He believes that with the help of his new apprentice Anton, he’ll find a way to save his workshop, his world and his solitary way of life. When Anton falls in love with Hava, Noah’s pregnant wife, the two young men compete not only over a father, but also over a woman and the baby she carries. Will the old man understand that his only hope for redemption is to learn to let go, admit and accept his weaknesses and the dictate of time? M: $5 NM: $8 Code: ISM4 The Israeli Film Series will continue this winter, look for updated information in the Winter Program Guide.

October 18 | 6:30 pm Israel Inside: How a Small Nation Makes a Big Difference is a documentary that explores the positive characteristics of Israeli society from a humanistic, psychological, and emotional perspective. This insightful and uplifting documentary sidesteps the usual conversation of politics, conflict and violence, and tells the story of the Israeli people – whose resilience has propelled Israel to the forefront of world innovation and progress.
