The VOLIGHT LED Street Luminaires can take anything the environment will throw at them, from extreme temperatures that range from -40°C (-40°F) to 50°C (122°F), to intense weather conditions. The durable IP66 sealed construction protects the luminaire’s light source, and its robust 3G* vibration resistant construction protects the rest the luminaire’s body. Heat is managed through a built-in heat-sink as well an aluminum Metal Cladded Printed Circuit Board (MCPCB), far superior to the typical FR4 ﬁber glass boards and considerably more recyclable.

This versatile Lighting solution was designed to last The Edixeon LED inside is designed to last well over 70,000 hours before needing to be replaced. The lifespan of an LED luminaire is measured using lumen depreciation. LM80 tests performed on the Edixeon LED clearly demonstrate that it not only meets criteria, it greatly surpasses them. When the LEDs in a luminaire reach 30% lumen depreciation, they should be replaced. However, since the lumen depreciation in the VOLIGHT LED Street Luminaires happens slower thanks to better thermal management (65°C), better junction temperature management (82°C), lower current usage (570mA), when the Volight LED Street luminaires reach 70,000 hours of use, their lumen depreciation will still be well under 30%. The Volight LED Street Luminaires are a lumen generating powerhouse designed to endure and that simply can’t be outperformed.
All LED luminaires are not created equal Our exclusive fixture finish features an E-Coat epoxy covering with an ultra durable silver powder topcoat, providing excellent resistance to corrosion, ultraviolet degradation and abrasion. Bronze, black, white and platinum bronze powder topcoats are also available. The finish is covered by our 10 year limited warranty. With a light source that lasts well over 70,000 hours (over 16 years), 3 to 7 times the lifespan of comparable traditional HID sources that is protected by a carefully crafted body, the Volight LED Street Luminaires have extremely low maintenance needs. With tens of thousands of DamakLED Street Luminaires already installed in the field over the past two years, the DamakLED Luminaire provides a one-for-one replacement for existing high wattage HID roadway installations. The DamakLED luminaires illuminate the road while reducing energy consumption and lowering maintenance cost. It serves as a replacement for luminaires with wattages of 250W up to 400W. The DamakLED eliminates the need for external fins by regulating its cooling system through the use of internal thermal management.

UNIFORM ROADWAY LIGHTING: The following iso-illuminance contour charts depict light levels on the roadway from the DamakLED and an HID source. The more contour lines the chart has, the more light level changes are experienced on the roadway. In comparing the two charts, it is apparent that the DamakLED provides a wider, more uniform distribution of light than the competitor’s HID product.

OPTICAL CONTROL LIGHT DISTRIBUTIONS Luminaire distributions are defined by IESNA based on five basic classifications that portray the transverse distribution pattern of the luminaire. All standard Volight Luminaires come with Type II lens, but Types I L, I S and III are available upon request.
Type I The Type I distribution is great for applications that are narrow but need farther side-to-side throw such as walkways, bike paths and sidewalks. These types of products are designed to be placed at or near the centre of the pathway.
Type II The Type II distribution is generally used in applications that require good side-to-side throw but need more forward light due to wider coverage areas. Type II distributions are often used for entrance roadways, smaller side streets, on ramps and wide walkways.
