Naples MADE IN
Taking a look at Voi’s fabulous store in Naples, the beautiful city itself and how to get there.
Flicking through the racks of Voi: Designer Fashion Room (in Sydney), you’ll find that most of our products are made in Italy - namely Zegna, Malo, Versace, Dolce & Gabbana and countless others. Like our high quality Italian goods, the current ‘Voi: Designer Fashion Room’ that you know in Sydney was actually based on a concept first realised in Italy, being Voi’s store in the beautiful city of Naples.

Voi’s concept from the very beginning was to present designer clothes at accessible prices with the same luxe atmosphere. Not wanting that outlet-warehouse feel, Voi aims to bring high quality garments, bags, shoes and accessories in stores with friendly staff that value our customers. Direct from Italy, our stock comes fresh from the likes of Prada, Miu Miu, Ferragamo, Giorgio Armani, Gianfranco Ferre, as well from designers including Hugo Boss, DKNY, Yves Saint Laurent and Roberto Cavalli. Although we do receive exclusive stock from high-end designers, Voi continues to search for stock from international and upcoming designers, keeping our racks fresh with exclusive items that cannot be sourced anywhere in the country.

Reflecting the exclusivity of our womenswear and menswear pieces, Voi opened its first Naples store in a beautiful 17th century villa in 1999, and the store continues to serve Voi’s clientele to this very day. If perchance you would like to find information on the Italian store and its current stock, Alessio can be contacted at info@brandtrade. it; English enquiries can be made. If you also happen to be dropping by Naples, Alessio can also be contacted for an exclusive pickup and champagne upon arrival at the store. We hope that one day you too will be able to check out our lovely Italian store. For those fortunate enough to visit the city we hope you enjoy your stay and otherwise, read on through this feature for more things to do and glimpses of Naples, a fantastic city.

The Palazzo Reale in Piazza del Plebiscito, a royal palace built by the city’s founding Spanish rulers 3. Naples’ Cathedral, the Duomo, a fantastic medieval building with Renaissance chapels and an early twentiethcentury facade 4. The Galleria Umberto I, a beautiful arcade with a glass roof, built in 1887 5. Castel Nuovo, home to two museums and local authority offices, a fortress which protects the port 6. The Royal Palace and Gardens, the previous residence of the Spanish Viceroys, containing several rare plants, ‘secret gardens’ and several statues. 7. The Museo Archelogico Nazionale, an archeological museum housing the Frnese Collection which consists of some of the finest pieces of Greek and Roman sculpture remaining. Naples is also located near Capri, Pompeii, Ravello, Cetara, Paestum and Campania, so if you get the chance to visit the city why not drop by somewhere nearby?
Naples is well-equipped with a well-planned transport system that connects itself with the rest of Italy. The international airport also means that it can be reached by many airlines including: • British Airways • Lufthansa • Cathay Pacific • Air France • Air China • Virgin Atlantic • Singapore Airlines • Alitalia • Thai Airways International • China Southern Airlines • Meridiana Fly • KLM Royal Dutch Airlines • Austrian Airlines If you’re getting to Naples via train, you can get there within two hours from Rome, the main station in Naples being Stazione Centrale in Piazza Garibaldi. For the timetable you can go to the Trenitalia site or give the green number 89 20 21 a ring. Feeling more adventurous? Hydrofoils and ferries depart from the Mergellina and Beverello wharfs in Naples for the Sorrento Peninsula and Gulf islands. During summer hydrofoil services are usually more frequent and faster than ferries. 14
