Inspiration from Everyday Life “There is much to be appreciated in what is around us. I see beauty in every day things and my work is very much in tune with the environment I am in.”
His Craftsmanship “I believe that every single material has its own story to tell; it is the process of shaping and developing the material that the story is being told.”

Poised at a height of 61cm, this statue marks the first lamp art piece in the bronze series. The bronze statue's silhouette is Gluska himself as he had carved his silhouette out in wood to achieve a likeness. This likeness was then reflected in the production of the bronze casting of The Fisherman Lamp.
