Coffee is not typically something you associate with beauty. More commonly known for its health benefits, coffee also has its advantages for your skin and hair. Many
of us have seen the news stories telling us coffee can be great for reducing risk of diabetes, heart disease, certain cancers, liver cirrhosis, and Alzheimer’s just to name a few. These rich beans also carry antioxidants that your body can use to help minimize the effects of aging. The caffeine when consumed provides help for those with rosacea and dark puffy eyes, as it constricts blood vessels. Coffee has been found in many anti-cellulite creams and can be wonderful when used as an exfoliate. Want to have sexy and vibrant skin, all while giving cellulite a run for its money? A few items make this totally possible. Start with coffee grounds and olive oil making a paste and then add a little honey. The grounds can then be rubbed all over your body or focus on legs, stomach or other area. When finished, your skin will feel smooth and look vibrant and new because old skin cells come off while exfoliating. Hair should be voluptuous and give off luxurious shine. This can be done at home using coffee. What? You read correctly. After you’ve consumed that delicious cup of brown goodness, take the used coffee grounds and give your hair a wash. After you rinse it all out your hair will be shiny and soft. Maybe looking at that cup of Joe won’t be the same ever again and that’s our intention. Next time brew it for all its worth and squeeze the beauty out if it.
