INCUBATOR
The initial form of the project is derived from the existing site and eventually strengthens its connection between the project and its surrounding context. To address the high level of activity and foot traffic in the Columbus street area, the form of the building is set back to create a public outdoor space in front of the street, enhancing the accessibility and usability of the area for pedestrians and visitors. To emphasize the entrance, part of the first floor is further recessed. The location of the site features slopes, and the design aims to integrate this topographical feature making it a noticeable and engaging element for visitors as they approach the upper level.

The visit to San Francisco influenced the design of the incubator. As I was walking around the city, I was surprised by the hilly terrain and how it affected my experience walking around San Francisco. I didn't expected, but going up a sloped street allowed me see everything around me in a totally unique way. Once I reached the top, I got a great panoramic view of everything around me. I've taken this concept and incorporated it into the design.

Site Analysis
The sun's direction plays a curcial role in determing where and the type of glass and windows should be placed in a building's design. By taking into account the orientation of the building and the path of the sun throughout the day, I can create spaces that are comfortable and visually appealing.
