Sample Proposal Incentive Based on ca. 100 pax

Good to know In Malta there are two official languages, Maltese and English. Valletta was named Malta's capital city in 1571. The first capital of Malta was the medieval city Mdina, which today is also referred to as The Silent City and is one of the main attractions on the island. Malta's year consists of 300 sunny days. The summer is long, warm and dry. Towards the winter the weather gets a bit more rainy and cooler, however without ever crossing minus degrees. In December the average temperature during the day is 17 °C. The total area of the island is 316 km2, so naturally the distances are short. The distance from the airport to Valletta and St. Julian’s is just 20 minutes. Malta got its independence from Great Britain in 1964. Since that time the Maltese still drive on the left side, the sockets are of UK style and you will find the same red telephone booths that are well known in Great Britain. Malta has a great infrastructure for incentives and conferences with many 5 star hotels, conference centres and venues. Most hotels are located in the vibrant seaside city of St. Julian’s
