Accompanied by her two vegetarian children, real ale loving husband, two large dogs and four pairs of (usually) muddy boots, each walk and pub in this guide has been personally tested by writer Chris Higham. The recommendations contained are therefore the opinions of the author and not necessarily those of Wightlink. During her various walking trips to the Isle of Wight, Chris Higham stayed at the Winterbourne in Bonchurch, which offers classy bed and breakfast accommodation, and at Little Span Farm, near Wroxall, in one of the self-catering cottages converted from farm buildings.
