installation has been re-energised with the creation of a new sound and light event space with related programming and events throughout the Illuminations period.
Of course, the only way to fully enjoy our Illuminations and breath-taking new LightPool extravaganza, is to get out of your car and stroll along the Promenade and into the town centre on foot.
The Grundy Art Gallery has also been transformed with contemporary lighting installations as part of the LightPool project, while the historic ‘Welcome’ arches return at both the North and South ends of the Promenade.
And to make sure you (and more than three million people who visit the Lights each year) get the best experience possible, we have recruited a team of new Resort Ambassadors. All have been trained to WorldHost standard
and tour the town to provide all the help and advice you need.
