To All people especially those who are 50+! Pink slime in ground beef! What is pink slime? It is left-over scraps of meat with ammonia hydroxide added to kill bacteria. I only bought lean ground beef back in the day. Who can say when and how much ammonia laced pink slime we have consumed over the years? Going to the butcher and selecting a cut of meat that you want to be ground, might be the way to go. By the way, how many butchers are still around? I believe arsenic is placed in the water to kill of some of the impurities. It has been stated that the levels at times, has exceeded safety measures for human consumption. When possible, for your babies, make your own apple juice from organic apples (apple sauce). Just imagine

Walnuts are a great source of omega fats and the good fats. Have you ever noticed the shape of a walnut? It looks like a brain-food for the brain.

Watch out for sodium in salad dressings. Read the labels. One thing that may help is red wine vinagretteto limit some of the salt. When you buy red wine, add two table spoons of vinegar, until you taste the

difference. Make sure you are reading the labels. Of course, creamy might be your worse choice, if you are watching your weight. The salad spritzers may be helpful, take it easy. Lastly, it has been said that heart attacks happen usually in the morning. Your blood pressure usually rises in the morning. So, be careful. I am urging that every one that reads this news letter have their blood pressure checked. Make smart choices for yourselves and start by reading the labels. Dear Heavenly Father, We thank you right now for all that you have done in our lives! Thank you, most of all, for your Dear Son Jesus the Christ, who sacrificed His life so we can live. Help us Father to forever keep your words before our eyes, and that we meditate on it day and night by reading our Bible daily.

Help us Heavenly Father to “hide the Word in our heart that we may not sin against you” (Psalm 119 verse 11). For your Word is a lamp to our feet and a light to our path because your Word is what keeps us all the days of our lives. Help us Father to be obedient to your Word by honoring the Word and understanding the

Spiritual Uplifting My daughter works parttime at a grocery store while she attends college. She often talks about the nastiness of the customers that come through her line. She tells me about the way people throw money across the register to her and the rudeness displayed when they are spoken to. Most disturbing was that there were people that were expressing racist language about the employees that worked at her place of employment. It is my conclusion that individuals that show such “barbaric behaviors” cannot be Christians. This sort of behavior can only be evident in a group of people who do not know God. Colossians 3:1014 states the following, “ 10

We are ALL EQUAL in Christ! and have put on the new self, which is being renewed in knowledge in the image of its Creator. 11 Here there is no Gentile or Jew, circumcised or uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave or free, but Christ is all, and is in all. 12 Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothe yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience. 13 Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you. 14 And over all these virtues put on love, which binds them all together in perfect unity.” We are charged as Christians to love and accept all people. There is none better than the other, in fact, Salvation is offered to eve-

ryone who accept Christ. Those individuals who are still bent on believing that they are supreme while others are substandard or beneath them, their day of “reckoning” will be sooner than they think. My flesh would be inclined to offer hate and negativity towards them, but my “born-again spirit” offers Christ to these individuals. As we celebrate a New Year and New Beginnings, I am hopeful that those individuals who are still practicing racism, will utilize this year to accept Christ and to learn to love everyone. Inspirational Message Overcoming Fear and Weakness All around us everyday, there are people shutting down Christian’s rights to speak and live freely on this earth. They took prayer and the right to mention God out of our schools and look at the system now. They passed laws that separated church and state and look at our country now. They went to court to take God’s name from the Pledge of Allegiance. They now want to say that marriage is not just between a man and woman. When does it stop?!!

March 21st, October 21st, or December 2012? What do you believe? Some say Judgment Day is May 21st or October 21st, or December 2012. The Bible says, “No one knows the day nor the hour when Christ returns.” This, I believe, stands true today. Instead of worrying about the date, we should focus on whether or not we are prepared for the return. Too many of us must make changes that will put us in a position to be worthy of Christ’s return. Are we ready? Have we repented and asked for God’s mercy for the sins we have committed? Will you be one of those staying behind after the Rapture? Have you accepted Christ? This should be our concern, instead of the date. The date should be the least of your worries. If God wanted us to know the date, he would have put it in the Bible with everything else He placed in there for us to live by. There are some things

God did not want us to know. Obviously, the date of Jesus’ return is one of them. There are people predicting the date and as a result, people have been selling their possessions. When the predicted date does not materialize, those people are left with nothing. One organization, which will remain nameless in this newsletter, has an estimated worth of $18,000,000.00. If the organization is predicting the end of the world, why would they need millions of dollars? "Study to shew (show) thyself (yourself) approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth" 2nd Timothy 2:15 - KJV. This verse simply means that we should read and study the Bible. This process will allow us to not be fooled by the wiles of the devil. Reading for yourself will allow God to help you to understand and act upon His directions and lessons in His Word. Many people attend church and wait for the preacher to divulge the Word

Unfortunately, it is important that you read the Word for yourself. Whether you read or don’t read for yourself, you are held accountable. The excuse of not knowing about the Word will not be justifiable for God. I am saying all of this to say that if you read the Word, you will know that not even Jesus knows the date of His return. So, lets focus on what we do know. We know that Jesus will return. We know God’s expectations for our lives based upon Bible principles. Something to PONDER

My parents were not saved. However, as they got older they gave their life to the Lord. Despite this, they were loving parents. Although my parents were not saved, they taught us to be responsible, to respect our elders, and to respect ourselves. Dignity, integrity, morals, to be a giver, and your word is your bond were valuable lessons taught by my parents. My siblings and I also learned some of it by watching them in action but something was still missing in our lives.

Well, as I got older something was still missing in my life. I was in the world, but not of the world. I started attending church on a regular basis. Then, I decided to give my life to the Lord. My life gradually took a 360 degree turn for the better. I love the Lord; I am covered under the blood of Jesus. I have insight and foresight. I talk to him and can depend on the Lord. His email is always working and his phone is never busy or turned off. God is there in the mist of my trials and tribulations. His words give me comfort. Praying helps relieve the pressures of life. Going to church helps to encourage me as I am in the presence of the saints. Also, singing and listening to gospel helps me. I have a good time just me and the Lord! Maybe the issues did not go away, but I just seem to be able to deal with it better. It is not as big as I thought it was. God gives me wisdom and dreams. I have tried living without him, but living with him is much better. He also gives me joy and peace. I know in

the past, there were some Christians who were still doing the same things they were doing before they were saved. That is because they have not revelation of God’s love and grace. They had no understanding of God’s system, no renewing of the mind, and they were not convicted by the Word. Saints, it is time to stop playing church. God sees you in the back, in the corner, and in the dark. DAH, God lives in you. Jesus is on his way back and everyone needs a relationship with God. In these last days, it is important to be saved, and in a Bible based church under a true man of God. You have tried everything else, so now try the best, JESUS! Sister L.D. As I looked back on my life as an unsaved person, I did not know how I made it without God in my life. Life for me as an unsaved person was a life of struggles and bumping into walls. I had little or no understanding of life. I had no one to depend on, no one to confide in, and no covering of Jesus Christ. I did not know who I was, who I belonged to, or what my purpose was in life? Simply put, I was living in darkness and I did not know God. I knew it had to be more to life, but what was it? I did not know.

Devotional Scripture As I go throughout my day, week, and month, I often encounter strange people. While most of us have been taught basic morals and values, there are people who have not. There are individuals who harbor hate and animosity for absolutely no reason. There are people who actually sit at their desks planning evil against other people. To make matters worse, I have encountered teenagers who are rude and disrespectful. Often you hear other adults say, “their parents are exactly the same way.”

Ephesians 6: 10 –18

Do you have on your ARMOUR of GOD?

Where does this type of thinking or behavior come from? Where does the hate and willingness to hurt or even kill others stem from? I say this comes from the demon of darkness—satan. It appears that satan is on his job. He has been travelling the earth—going to and fro, ready to steal and destroy anyone in his path. It is important that Christians pray and put on the full “Armour of God”. We are fighting things that we cannot see, but God’s Word and His protection will shield us from the wiles of the devil. We will encounter devils everyday as we go through our lives.

Consequently, we must read and study the “Word of God”. This is a weapon that will sustain us until Jesus’ return. WE MUST RESIST THE DEVIL AND HE WILL FLEE! The devil and his crew have used all the tools available to fight us. He went to the courthouse and now we can’t pray in schools (Separation of Church/State). When are we going to stand up and FIGHT? Where is your ARMOUR of GOD? Get it and put it on! Minister A.A.

Glory to Glory As believers or Christians, we tend to be very biased or judgmental. I myself am working to overcome this habit because it is neither beneficial to others or me. I have also noticed that where there is a judgmental attitude or spirit, pride lingers in the mist. Therefore, we have to be very careful not to walk in this way because God resists or refuse to accept the

This doesn't mean to tolerate foolishness or be a garbage can for other people's trashy behavior, it simply means to understand God is still at work in them; so pray for the best in everyone. Salvation! Is this your Eternal Goal? God desires for all of us to be saved. It is not His desire that any should perish. Nevertheless, He also gave us free will. Our Father desires us to make the decision of following Him or not. Have you made that decision? When you take your last breath where will you spend eternity? Will it be Heaven or hell? The end result will be based upon the choice you made! It is my hope that you choose to follow God. If you make that choice today, you have to acknowledge that you are a sinner and repent of your sins. You must acknowledge that you believe that Jesus is the Son of God who died on the cross for you. It is as simple as that! God hears you and God Saves you! If you have not made that decision today, please make it soon. Tomorrow is not promised to you and waiting until later, may be too late! Eternity is too long to be without God! Scriptures for Salvation Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. John 1:12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name. Revelation 3:20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me. 1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
