Introduction Congratulations! You’ve made a big decision to purchase a Virtual Business in a Box, which will help get you started on your journey to running your own business. This 30 Day Start-Up Workbook, written to be used with Dream or Reality? – A Guide to Starting Your Business has step by step activities to get your business up and running within 30 days. Read the exercise on the left hand page, complete the activity on the right hand page and then tick off each task when completed. In addition, you can pin up and use the supplied thermometer as a visual reminder of how far you’ve come. Simply put in your start date, launch date and track your progress through the 30 days. The 30 days do not have to be on consecutive days – you may want to take things slowly and spread your activities over a longer period as some of the exercises may ask you things you haven’t yet thought about. That’s not a problem – we will work with you to ensure you start your business when you are ready. There are a number of ‘D Days’ in the workbook – these are Decision Days. These are on days 3, 5, 8, 9, 22, 23 and 29. Without these decisions deadlines, you will not meet your 30 day deadline. If you have purchased a Platinum box, you will have the added benefit of my knowledge and experience through the business mentor/support package which is included in your box. You can call upon me to help you during your 30 day start-up phase, or if you prefer, during the first few months after you launch. I am happy to work with you to ensure you get the best out of your purchase. If you have bought a Gold or Silver box and would like some support, give me a call and I will be happy to discuss this with you. If you have purchased the Dream or Reality guide and workbook without purchasing a whole box, there are certain exercises within the workbook that you will not be able to complete eg Day 5 – Logo & Branding and Day 10 – Set your Price. You may, however, want to

think about how you would achieve the same outcome using other tools available to you (eg your own logo designer, templates available through other online sources) Good luck with your exciting new journey – if you need any assistance with this workbook, please give me a call. All my details will have been emailed to you and are also included in the Information Pack included in your box.
